Sorry about the extreme delay in the reply. As Daniel has pointed out below, I suspect this is due to a permission issue. The best way to figure this out would be to check permission/ownership of the /opt directory and it’s subdirectories by running ls -lah /opt. If the permission doesn’t match, make sure you change it by running chown and chmod commands with proper arguments on the directory.
